I have been embroiled in fighting the draconian legislating against legal civilian firearms for over 25 years.

In the start it was more a matter of these regulations restricting the exercise of my chosen pastimes which were hunting and competitive target shooting. But as an activist I interfaced with more and more federal legislators and gun control bureaucrats, I realized this was a deep civil liberties issue which cut to the core of what type of political system we were to live under...a free civil society of empowered individuals or a micro managed society repressed by social engineering statism.

I have mot abandoned the firearms cause...I just have decided the best way to bring it down( against the insurmountable corruption in the "official" support for this control regime) is with massive, principled, non violent non compliance.

As for the micro-managed anthill society that is continuously being constructed by the same statist politicians who support civilian gun registries and criminalizing non-criminal firearms ownership, I continue to expose their their social engineering agendas on the internet to a wider audience.

Roughly put people, Lib-left statist governance is a facade...a painted stage prop to make you think we have a real democracy with a real free and civil society where rights are universal and inviolable...we do not...Lib-left staism is erecting a political oligarchy validated by an appointed jurocracy....it's a tiny club of political insiders people...and you ain't in the club... so you are on your own in trying to escape it's tightening grip on your freedoms, liberty and personal property.

Civilian gun controls as constructed by these people is not about public safety and crime control...it's about arbitrary conversion of private property to state control and the arbitrary criminalization of non-criminal individuals and non-criminal orthodoxies the state has agenda-driven differences with.

Having watched every major firearms act case run at trial over the past 16 years, I see an established pattern... the original intent of the firearms laws is abused time and time again by the state and police who use these sweeping powers to subjugate and abuse individuals for a political statement....to never let us forget who the "boss" is with vulgar displays of excessive force and constitutional abuses....and here you thought the people were the "boss" in a democracy...time to smell the coffee people.

You might also be interested in viewing a series of videos created by Bruce Montague's daughter Katey, who is using YouTube (http://www.YouTube.com/katesfirearmsfacts) to help raise public awareness in this case. Her video on the seizure of the Montague family home is particularly disturbing.
